Different modular sorting technologies are utilised within the EcoTowerSort system such as eddy currents, inductive metal sensors, optical camera sensors (CCD), near infrared sensors (NIR) or combinations of these different technologies.
Input material is sorted on-line into several output streams such that a repeated material input is prevented and a suitable material distribution is achieved for the best possible sorting result. Distribution of the material is optimised at each sorting step. On the metal sensor stages, material can be ejected by the use of air or via an airless method based on the paddle or finger system.

SCS Sensor Current Seprator
This stacked Eddy Current Separator (ECS) technology and Metal Sensor technology combined in a compact housing is used to recover all non ferrous metals from any kind of bulk material.
The ECS sorts most of the non ferrous metals or just the aluminum and the Metal Sensor is able to recover all 'lost' metals or just stainless steel or cables only.
Metal Sensor Double Decker
Utilising two decks of metal sensors, this model allows the sorting of i.e. Stainless Steel in the first stage and recovery of cables in the second stage.
CombiSensor Triple Decker
Utilising the ECS Technology and Metal Technology in the SCS, this model is equipped with a primary Eddy Current Separator stage followed by two decks of metal sensors.
